Born 1937 in Vienna. He studied chemistry, physics and mathematics at Vienna University; later he turned over to journalism and served as a reporter as well as an editor among different newspapers in Vienna.
In 1971 he got in contact what was named "Occultism" at this time. He met some of the most famous healers and scientists, like Harry Edwards, Tom Johanson and Paul Beard in England and Ian Stevenson, Charles Honorton, Karlis Osis, J.B. Rhine, Louisa Rhine, Charles Tart and others in the US. He worked together with Uri Geller in Television and publishing, serving as an interpreter of Geller's books.
In 1981 he met Michael Harner in Alpbach, Tyrol and joined from that time on Core Shamanism and the Foundation for Shamanic Studies working and studying with peoples in Siberia and the Americas.
